This little recipe is a traditional dish from the Northern France, given a very special and lovely twist of our own. Fresh strawberries marinated in our Chardonnay Vinegar is the absolute, most refreshing nibble one can make in the middle of a warm afternoon. The vinegar’s slightly sweet essence won’t overwhelm the fruit, making it the perfect marinade. Aside from the time needed to let them fruit steep in the vinegar, the prep is lightening quick. Enjoy!
2 lbs of fresh strawberries, quartered
2 cups of Branches Chardonnay Vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
Gently mix the strawberries with the sugar and the vinegar in a large ceramic bowl. Cover when finished, and let sit in the refrigerator for two hours. Serve alongside our Chardonnay Vinegar Cocktail for an extra sweet treat!
